Our Story
The Salty Christian is a black-woman owned business that was founded in May of 2020 because of a strong desire to help make the world a better place.
Our name comes from the perspective that salt changes the taste of whatever it touches. Therefore, we strive to be like salt. Changing everything around us (including ourselves) for the better. And, truth be told, sometimes the world just makes us salty!
We acknowledge that we are in this world but not of this world. We are perfectly imperfect people on a journey to have God at the center of our lives however salty we may be. We strive to better ourselves and the world around us as we seek peace, knowledge, and understanding. We are learning and growing in life and faith.
Please know that you do not have to be Christian to join us on this journey. Like God, we strive to be accepting, loving, non-judgmental beings.
